Liza is a Patient Care Coordinator at Utopia Cancer Center. She has worn many different hats in her professional career with over 10 years of experience in the Telecommunication Industry. Leading a healthy lifestyle had always been important her so she decided to pursue a career path more closely aligned with her passion for health, wellness, and connecting with others. Endlessly curious about functional and holistic nutrition, she enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where she studied contemporary health issues, learning from nutrition experts, integrative health researchers, and functional medicine doctors. She gained a deep understanding of functional nutrition, the mind-body connection, and the healing power of whole foods. Liza describes that finding Utopia Cancer Center was a dream fulfilled to work with like-minded individuals as well as witnessing the amazing journey of their patients. Liza also enjoys creating Latin inspired plant based meals and creating lasting memories with her 9-year-old daughter by taking her, kayaking, star gazing and exploring nature.
